This wedding at Kilworth House Hotel escalated very quickly. I’ve had last-minute bookings before. A month before the wedding usually. I even had one two weeks before the big day once. But Rachael and Yazdi set a benchmark that I’m convinced will never be beaten. They booked me for their wedding less than 2 hours before the ceremony was due to start. A ceremony an hour away from me on a good day.
Luckily my gear and outfit were both ready as I was on call to cover a pregnant friend, so I jumped in the car, arriving with 15 minutes to spare. ‘She always does things last minute’, Rachael’s sister told me as I snapped a couple of shots before heading down to the ceremony. The civil ceremony took place in the Wordsworth Room, before everybody headed out into the courtyard garden.

After drinks in the sun, the guests all headed into The Library for pre-dinner speeches, and the wedding breakfast.
