100 Barrington Wedding Photography in Brixton London
Enjoli and Duncan’s wedding took place at 100 Barrington in Brixton, under its previous moniker of Brixton East. The bridal party had hired a gorgeous house in Clapham for the preparations. There was a gaggle of bridesmaids doing bridesmaid things, and a few family lurking in the background. Pink dresses all round, and pink hair too in the case of one of the girls. Unfortunately there was a brief rain shower for the journey to Asylum in a London taxi for the ceremony.
Asylum Wedding Ceremony
At Asylum, Duncan was waiting in full Scottish dress for the bride’s arrival. The ceremony happened without a hitch, in the gorgeous light that comes as standard with this amazing venue. There were a few readings, then a couple of friends pulled out acoustic guitars for a bit of a song. The guests did their paparazzi thing during the register signing, then the couple exited into the rain. At the opposite end of Asylum the guests grabbed a handful of dried petals and headed outside ready to shower the newlyweds. After that, everyone made a sharp exit on Routemaster buses down the road to 100 Barrington in Brixton.
Warehouse Wedding Venue 100 Barrington
On arrival at 100 Barrington the couple and their guests headed straight upstairs for the drinks reception. The venue had been decorated with great festoon lighting, and the band were providing the soundtrack. There was an amazing brightly coloured wedding cake covered in fruit and edible flowers. There was time to catch up with everyone, then the party moved to the ground floor for the meal and speeches.
Before long the formalities were complete, then the colourful cake was cut. There was more colour in the form of confetti cannons during the first dance. There was also a photo booth hidden in a mirror, that allowed everyone present to capture their own lasting record of the day!
