How much?

The Whole Day

This is wedding photography for me. Not just a few key shots, but all of the moments from the nerves and excitement of the build-up, right through to the drunken partying. The things you have planned, and the unexpected bits you don’t see because you’re focussed on each other. Proper wedding coverage includes it all, and I don’t like missing anything!

I generally start my day 2-3 hours before the ceremony, and I’m still there at least an hour after the first dance, capturing all of the fun at the end of the day. No hourly limits.

Everything below is included in every Whole Day package, along with a few nifty surprises.

Before the Day

You will have a wedding expert on hand to help answer any questions as you plan your day. Drop me an email anytime to discuss anything wedding-related! About a week before the big day we will catch-up to run through everything in detail.

Travel and Accommodation

I love to travel, and I’m happy to go anywhere in the world for a wedding. My standard pricing includes all travel costs within the mainland UK. Overseas and destination weddings cost a bit more to cover flights, etc. More details below!

Highlights Slideshow

I like to give you a taster with a selection of around 100 of your finished images, set to music, for you to enjoy on whatever screen you have to hand. This will live on a page on my website that you can share with friends and family.

Online Gallery

You’ll get an online gallery containing all of your images. For the whole day, this will be around 500-600 photographs, and you can download all of the high-resolution files. You and your guests can also use this gallery to order prints, etc.

A Bit of the Day

Having a micro-wedding? Or maybe you just want your legal ceremony photographed?
Either way, you get the same approach and service, just less of my time on the day.

£250 per hour

Oct–Mar: Minimum two hours
Apr-Sep: Minimum two hours on weekdays and five hours on weekends.

Destination Wedding Photography

When I said I love to travel, I really meant it.

So, whether you’re heading off to the Med for a sunny wedding, jetting into a far-off city for a cool urban wedding, or braving rugged landscape for a picturesque backdrop to your wedding, I will be right there with you, passport in hand.

Travel logistics allowing, I will usually be able to spend some time with you and your guests on the evening before your wedding day, and even join in with the hungover, post-wedding pool party on the day after.

Destination wedding pricing includes costs for flights, accommodation, car hire, etc. and I can create a bespoke quote for you once you tell me all of your plans. I’m keen to find out, so please get in touch!

Any questions?

Of course! We can chat about your day on a Zoom, Skype or FaceTime call, or if you would like to meet in the flesh (like the old days!) we can definitely try and arrange something.

Meeting isn’t compulsory however, and I am happy to answer any questions via email or over the phone, and you can then book when you are ready. I shoot many weddings each year without meeting the couple until the wedding day, although I will endeavour to speak to you about a week before the wedding to check timings and details, and to find out what your first dance song is.

I require a completed online booking form and a non-refundable retainer fee of £500 to secure your date. I operate a first-come, first-served policy and I can’t hold dates without the completed form and retainer fee, no matter how nicely you ask!

The retainer fee is then deducted from the final balance, which is due 28 days before your wedding.

Although my focus and priority is candid and natural coverage of your day, I realise that you or your family may see some staged group shots as an important part of the wedding photography. I recommend having as few as possible of these, and I usually do around four or five. These can include a shot of all the guests together if space and light allow. They usually take about 15 minutes with the help of some planning, and an efficient bridesmaid (bridesmaids are always way better at this than ushers) doing the herding.

You can see some examples of my group shots and staged photography here.

For most weddings I bring my own food and drink. This is one less thing for you to organise and worry about, but it also means I can relax in the knowledge that I don’t have to pester anyone for a meal. I take a short break whilst you and your guests are eating.

For London weddings, or situations where my car is not accessible, a meal is gratefully received.

I prefer to work alone as I feel it enables me to be discreet and blend in to your wedding much easier. You and your guests can relax without feeling like you are constantly being watched. That’s how I get the results you see on this website, and I’m often told that I went unnoticed for the majority of the day.

If there are specific circumstances that require a second photographer (groom preps in a different county that absolutely must be photographed, etc.), I can organise for another (fully vetted) photographer to tag along.

I certainly am. I have professional indemnity and public liability cover, and happy to share the deets with your venue if necessary.

Thankfully I’ve never been too ill to attend a wedding, and I would have to be completely incapacitated to consider not being there. If this were the case I am part of a huge network of UK photographers who I can call on to step in and cover your day.

This varies from wedding to wedding, but for a 10-12 hour coverage the total is usually around 500-600 images. These are fully-processed, high resolution files, with a licence for your personal use. There will be a mix of colour and black & white images. Ready to print or to share with your friends and family!

There is no deadline for book or card orders. Many couples decide to add extras when they pay their balance, some once they’ve seen their images, and some come back to me a year or more after their wedding to order a book. However, note that the advertised prices for extras are only valid until the date your balance is due (28 days before your wedding).

No, you can’t.
