Cambridge Cottage Wedding Photography at Kew Gardens, Surrey
My previous trips to Kew Gardens had always been in summer when the place is in full flower and leaf. That’s not to say it isn’t still a beautiful place to get married at Christmas. And they do a good Christmas tree!
Katherine began her day across Kew Green at the Coach & Horses
. Her parents had been involved in a traffic collision the evening before, so stress levels were a little higher than usual. Luckily everyone was unhurt and it didn’t impact on the rest of the day. Once ready it is just a short walk over to Cambridge Cottage
where Visaal was meeting and greeting.
The couple had a quick and simple civil ceremony, with a big crowd for the register signing ‘shot’! After that, there was fizz and Indian themed canape’s, then everyone headed out to the land train for a quick tour of Kew. Christmas trees visited, and non-wedding visitors waved it, it was back into the warm for the speeches and the wedding breakfast. A gentle evening followed with the cutting of the cake, a smattering of dancing and a few board games.
