This wedding covered a lot of London, with a ceremony on the outskirts, and a reception at The White Swan pub in the City. First up was the ceremony at Our Lady Help of Christians RC Church in Rickmansworth. Hannah got ready at her parents’ house, whilst Luke was having a sneaky drink at a pub in a converted mill around the corner from the church.
The ceremony passed off peacefully, despite some obvious nerves from the groom. There was time for a few congratulations and confetti before everybody jumped on a couple of Routemaster buses. It was a fairly painless journey into the City of London. The reception was at The White Swan pub near Fleet Street, an area pretty much deserted at the weekend. So they had the normally closed pub all to themselves, along with the pavement outside. The wedding breakfast was held across the two floors of the pub, and there were individual cupcakes resembling ice creams. The day ended with a few speeches and a little bit of dancing.
