It was a clear sunny June day for Victoria and Joe’s Petersham Nurseries wedding. Victoria got ready at The Petersham hotel with her mum and identical twin sister by her side. This was also where I met up with the fantastic Lee from Shutterbox Films who was busy recording the day. Meanwhile, Joe greeted their friends and family in the sunshine at St. Nicholas’ Church over in Thames Ditton.
Victoria made her entrance on the arm of her godmother’s husband Clive, with a beaming smile on her face. Once the ceremony was over and the register signed, everyone headed to the lovely gardens opposite the church for some celebratory drinks and cakes. Victoria and Joe took a few minutes to visit her dad’s memorial in the church grounds. After that, it was time to cut the wedding cake, before heading to Petersham Nurseries in Clive’s fantastic vintage Rolls Royce.

A bellini greeted everybody on arrival at the nurseries, along with some fantastic canapés. If you have the pleasure of attending a Petersham Nurseries wedding, I highly recommend the polenta! There was time for drinking and nibbling and lots of catching up. Prior to sitting down for the meal, a family friend kicked off the speeches. Once everyone was seated, the bride and groom made their entrance and the eating began. The meal was broken up with more speeches from the bride, the groom and the best men, along with entertainment from the band.

With the first dance out of the way, the guests hit the dance floor. Victoria and Joe made their exit though a fantastic tunnel of sparklers and the day concluded with a bouquet toss!
