Suzy and Chris had a small and informal wedding planned, beginning with their ceremony at Orleans House Gallery in Richmond. Their day featured a first for me, the heavily pregnant bride! Suzy got ready with friends and family at the lovely Richmond Hill Hotel on the edge of Richmond Park. Once ready, the bridal party headed to the ceremony venue. There they were greeted by the groom for a pre-ceremony nerve calmer.
The ceremony itself was full of joy and laughter, and I got a great award-winning shot of Suzy hugging her baby bump! After the register was signed there was a brief pink fizz reception before moving on. The rather gloomy autumn day put paid to drinks and nibbles outside, but at least the Octagon Room has a lovely interior and photogenic chequered floor.
The day then continued a bit further down river at The Depot Riverside Restaurant in Barnes. Great views of the river, and a perfect relaxed atmosphere. After the wedding breakfast there were a couple of very short speeches, and then dancing into the night.
