This wedding involved a visit to the beautiful Home House in Marylebone, London. This was a new private members club in my repertoire. Established in the 18th century, this space is spread across three Georgian townhouses in Portman Square. It is a venue the bride was very familiar with being an event organiser, and she felt very relaxed and at home. She got ready in one of the upstairs rooms with her twin sister (see image 4!) and other family. Murray was meeting guests on the ground floor, before heading up the grand central staircase. Everyone then convened in one of the Drawing Rooms for the civil ceremony.
After the ceremony was completed the small gathering headed into the venue gardens for drinks. There they were entertained by a harpist. Meanwhile, the couple headed into Portman Square with close family for a little quiet time and some confetti. Back inside the venue the guests took their seats in the Front Parlour for the wedding breakfast. There was a speech from the groom, a cutting of the wedding cake, and then a first dance in an adjoining room.
