Fredericks Wedding Photography in Islington, London
The autumn included a couple of the year’s smallest weddings, including Greg and Michael’s small wedding at Fredericks restaurant. The bijou ceremony took place in the small but grand Mayor’s Parlour at Islington Town Hall. The couple entered together, and there were a couple of readings. After that, everyone headed out on to the town hall steps for posed photos. Then we were treated to a German wedding tradition I’ve not come across before. A large sheet with a heart drawn on it is held up. Then the couple have to cut out the heart with scissors and pass through the hole.
Small Wedding in the Clarence Room at Fredericks
With the formalities out of the way the small gaggle of wedding guests headed down Upper Street on foot to Frederick’s Restaurant on Camden Passage. After a short but sweet drinks reception on the decking area in the garden, the wedding party headed upstairs to the Clarence Room for dinner. After dinner the couple cut their traditional-style wedding cake, complete with the usual paparazzi. This included a speech by Michael’s brother that triggered a lot of tears from all present!
