The latest Ribble Valley wedding venue to be blessed with my presence was Eaves Hall. I’m slowly working my way around all the great spots in this part of Lancashire. Rachel and Morgan had the epitome of a relaxed wedding day, with everything in one place. Lots of time for drinks and lawn games (more on those in a second), impromptu speeches, etc.
The groom had spent the weeks leading up to the wedding on an egg-heavy diet in order to create the table decorations. Furthermore, the best man props hit a new level with a life-sized cardboard cut-out of the groom on his stag do in a very glamourous air stewardess outfit. The ideal background for a lovely shot of the cake.
Now, I’ve seen plenty of lawn games in my time, and giant Jenga usually features, but this is the first time I’ve come across human Jenga. All-female human Jenga that is. However, the rules seemed to be a bit different, and the players don’t normally have to change outfit following a game due to damp patches. Not sure it will catch on.
