Wedding Day After Party Photography, Derbyshire
Normally I leave my weddings and don’t see my couples again unless I bump into them by chance. Or at another wedding! My last memory is usually of a very happy and slightly tipsy (varying levels of tipsy) set of people partying the night away. With Helen and Ash I got a rare chance to see what the ‘morning after’ looks like. They asked me to photograph the party they held at Ash’s parents’ house on the day following their wedding at Masa Restaurant.
Sunglasses were out in force, although hangovers didn’t look to be too much of a factor. It was a good job as all manner of activities were planned. First up was lunch, provided by the aforementioned sister-in-law of Ash’s brother Ross. On top of the five wedding cakes managed to rustle up an amazing buffet of savoury and sweet food.
Then it was time for an egg and spoon race, a sack race, limbo and other games. These were all capped off with a game of ‘wrap up the bride and groom in loo roll’. Rather them than me!
