Arriving at Tonedale House for a wedding is a feat in itself as it’s hidden away behind derelict mill buildings. However, once there it is hard not to be charmed by it’s grand, whilst slightly rough around the edges, interior. Both Hannah and Will, and a lot of their guests, were staying at the house. They got ready and travelled separately to the ceremony at St Peters church, ten minutes up the road in Langford Budville. The guests travelled in a vintage bus, and the bride had a classic Jaguar.
After the ceremony, and some time outside the church for congratulations, they returned to the house for their drinks reception. Everybody gathered in the gorgeous gardens, with musical accompaniment from a jazz quartet. There was pink fizz, and canapés and lots of frolicking on the lawn. Soon everyone headed into the marquee for the wedding breakfast. Hannah and Will’s links to drama and TV played a part in their ceremony, speeches and even in the names of their tables. No TV cameras at the wedding though, thankfully! After the meal, the day ended back in the house with lots of dancing.
