Tudor Barn Eltham Wedding Photography, London
The middle wedding of a trio of London events in one weekend, this one found me at the Tudor Barn in Eltham. Surrounded by a medieval moat and acres of parkland, this 16th century building is a but of a hidden secret in the borough of Greenwich. Emily got ready at her parents’ house in Blackheath where her and Oliver were living. A family member was doing flowers and the bride’s sister and soon-to-be sister-in-law were on bridesmaid duty. There were a few transport issues with the parents of the groom breaking down en route, and a vintage taxi for the bride never arriving.
However, Emily finally arrived and here marriage to Oliver went ahead without a hitch. Following the ceremony everybody braved the hot July sun on what turned out to be one of the hottest days of the year. There was confetti and a drinks reception on the lawn, then it was back into the barn for the wedding breakfast. A meal and a few speeches later, the band struck up and the masses danced the night away.

Mark you have a lovely combo of intimate and public pictures and capture atmosphere beautifully. I love the mix of B&W and colour.
