London Winter Wedding Photography
A winter visit to London and one of my favourite venues for a great Town Hall Hotel wedding. Emma and Paul were hoping for snow to complete the Christmas card scene started by their horse and carriage, but it wasn’t to be. Emma took a ride around the block with her dad anyway!
An army of young bridesmaids lead the bride into the council chamber where Paul was waiting. After the brief ceremony, the newlyweds jumped into the horse and carriage for some time alone. Everyone else jumped into taxis for the short journey over to City restaurant L’Anima. Having first met Emma and Paul a month earlier at their tasting, I knew the southern Italian delights that were in store from chef Francesco Mazzei. The best risotto I have ever tasted, and a Sicilian lemon sponge wedding cake to name but two.
There were a couple of speeches and some dancing, and then it was time for me to head home, another year under my belt. So two Christmas weddings, in venues as different as can be. More great 2012 weddings up next!
