The venue for Jodi and Dean’s December wedding was Buxted Park in East Sussex. A proper Christmas wedding this one with trees, crackers and a cake shaped like a stack of presents. Jodi got ready in the basement rooms of the hotel, with the couple’s children helping out in their own way. Dean arrived ready for action, with his family in tow. They had time for a quick drink in the bar, before they and all the guests took their seats in the Victorian Orangery for the civil ceremony.
After making everything legal the couple led the wedding guests through to the Coat of Arms Lounge for the drinks reception. There were canapés and lots of photos. The wedding party even braved the cold Christmas air for a few photos outside. The wedding breakfast took place in the atmospheric surroundings of the fully-decked ballroom. Roast turkey and all the trimmings. and paper party hats all round. There were a few speeches, and a surprise video presentation. Following that, the couple cut their amazing cake, after which the band struck up and the guests got dancing.
