Thornton Manor Wedding Photography, Cheshire
My last rainy wedding of the summer (up to this point) was my first ever in this area. Merseyside if you believe the map, Cheshire if you believe the venue website! Rachel and David’s wedding used every corner of the sprawling Thornton Manor estate. The bride was in the Thatched Cottage getting hair and make-up done with her bridesmaids. Meanwhile, the groom was getting ready (appropriately) in the Groom’s Cottage.
After that Rachel and party moved over to the main house for dress installation. Then downstairs to the Dining Room for the ceremony. This was followed by drinks in the Inner Hall, and time to fill in a note for the guestbook tree (!). Then everyone moved into the Music Room for the wedding breakfast amongst some of the most amazing table decorations I have seen. After a few drinks everyone boarded a bus to be shipped to the Lakeside Marquee where they found that the table decorations had relocated.
The hidden dance floor was revealed by the lifting of the dividing curtain with much drama. Rachel and David then performed their first dance, closely followed by some crazy moves by the gathered masses.
